Saif Ali Khan Talks About Surviving a Knife Attack and How His Son Jeh Got Hurt

Saif Ali Khan has revealed chilling details about a horrifying attack that took place at his house earlier this year. Speaking on Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s talk show Two Much, Saif recalled how a burglar armed with knives broke into his home in January, demanding money while threatening his son, Jeh.

The actor shared that his younger son, Jeh, even suffered minor cuts during the incident. “Kareena had been out, and I had just finished watching a movie with the boys (Taimur and Jeh). We went to bed around two in the morning. When Kareena returned, we chatted for a bit before sleeping,” Saif said. “Then our maid came rushing in and said, ‘There’s someone in Jeh’s room with a knife asking for money.’”

Saif immediately ran to Jeh’s room. “I barged in and saw this man standing over Jeh’s bed with a knife. He was moving around too much, and both Jeh and his nanny got cut marks,” he revealed. “I thought he was smaller than me, so I jumped on him. Jeh later told me, ‘You should have punched or kicked him instead.’ But I jumped, and we started fighting. The man had two knives and began slashing all over.”

Saif Ali Khan’s Domestic Help Saved his Life

Saif credited his domestic help, Geeta, for saving his life that night. “I remembered some of my training and blocked a few slashes, but then I felt a hard thump on my back. Geeta came in, helped me fight him off, and pushed the guy away. She saved my life. We thought we locked him in a room, but he managed to escape the way he came in,” Saif said.

After the intruder fled, Saif rushed to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw, while Kareena took the children to her sister Karisma Kapoor’s house for safety. “Taimur insisted on coming with me to the hospital. I felt at peace seeing him there,” the actor added.

Saif underwent surgery and took some time to recover. Thankfully, both he and his family are now safe. Hearing his account, Kajol became emotional and hugged the actor on the show.
