‘Raftaar’ Announcement: Rajkummar Rao–Keerthy Suresh Film Sets Summer 2026 Date

A new Bollywood collaboration is bringing together talent from Hindi and South Indian cinema, as actors Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh prepare to share the screen in the upcoming film Raftaar. The makers have announced that the film will hit theatres on 24 July 2026, setting the stage for one of the year’s notable cross-industry pairings.
Directed by Aditya Nimbalkar, the film blends themes of ambition, power and personal relationships. The story reportedly unfolds in a fast-paced world where professional success and personal ambitions collide, exploring how the pursuit of money and influence tests both relationships and moral choices.
The project is produced by Patralekhaa under the banner of KAMPA Films, with Tarun Bali serving as executive producer. The screenplay has been written by Rohan Narula.
Apart from the two lead actors, the film also features a supporting cast that includes Rajat Kapoor, Tanya Maniktala, Anurag Thakur and Rohan Verma, adding a mix of experienced and emerging performers to the ensemble.
The film’s announcement was accompanied by a poster shared on social media by the lead actors, hinting at a story built around ambition and greed. The tagline suggests that while ambition may build empires, it also comes with consequences that test both love and loyalty.
With a release scheduled for mid-2026, Raftaar is expected to attract attention not only for its storyline but also for bringing together two popular actors from different film industries. The collaboration reflects the growing trend of pan-Indian projects that blend talent and storytelling across regional cinema boundaries.
