Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 Set for April Release on Netflix

The makers of the courtroom comedy series Maamla Legal Hai announced that its second season would premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2026, bringing viewers back to the chaotic and humorous world of the Patparganj District Court. The show, which gained popularity for its quirky take on legal battles and small town courtroom drama, returned with a mix of familiar characters and new faces.

Actor Ravi Kishan once again led the series as the eccentric lawyer and bar association president V D Tyagi. The character, known for his overconfident personality and unusual courtroom tactics, became a highlight of the first season when the show debuted in 2024.

The upcoming season also brought back key cast members including Naila Grewal, Nidhi Bisht, Anant Joshi, and Anjum Batra, who continued their roles as lawyers navigating bizarre cases and workplace rivalries inside the fictional district court.

Along with the returning cast, the new season introduced fresh additions such as Kusha Kapila and Dinesh Lal Yadav, bringing new energy to the courtroom comedy. The storyline was expected to continue blending satire, everyday legal disputes and workplace humour that had helped the series build a loyal audience.

Created by Sameer Saxena, the show was set in a fictional district court where eccentric lawyers handled everything from petty disputes to unusual complaints, often turning routine legal proceedings into chaotic and comedic situations. The format helped the series stand out among Hindi streaming comedies when the first season premiered in March 2024.

With its second season scheduled to stream in early April, the series aimed to build on the popularity of its debut season while expanding the comic universe of the Patparganj courtroom.
